&#039;&#039;&#039;Rona Munro&#039;&#039;&#039; (born 7 September [[1959]]) is a Scottish [[film]] and [[television]] writer and playwright.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
She wrote the final serial of the original [[Doctor Who]] television series, entitled &amp;quot;[[Survival (Doctor Who serial)|Survival]]&amp;quot;, as well as its novelisation. She is one of the very few women to have written for this series. (Others include [[Barbara Clegg]] and [[Jane Baker]].)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Also co-wrote the screenplay for the historical lesbian romance and war movie, &#039;&#039;Aimée &amp;amp; Jaguar&#039;&#039;, based on Erica Fischer&#039;s book.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
Janet Fielding is a stage name. Her birth name is Janet Mahoney. She took the surname &amp;quot;Fielding&amp;quot; after her grandmother, who was also an actress.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In [[1991]], she became the director of the U.K. chapter of [[Women in Film and Television]], an organisation that &amp;quot;exists to protect and enhance the status, interests and diversity of women working at all levels in both film, television and digital media industries&amp;quot;.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Later she became the director of the acting agency Marina Martin Associates.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In recent years, she has contributed to audio commentaries on the DVD releases of &#039;&#039;Doctor Who&#039;&#039; serials in which she appeared, providing a lively and often feminist perspective on these stories.&lt;br /&gt;
