How happy are authors with how heroines or female characters are portrayed on their book covers or accompanying illustrations? Are illustrations getting better or is part of the SF&amp;amp;F genre&amp;#039;s credibility still ruined by images that look like pin-up art? Covers are the third most important factor in how books and magazines are sold. How would authors like to see the visual representation of science-fiction and fantasy literature progress? What kinds of cliches need to stop? What directions do we need to explore?&lt;br /&gt;
