'''"Love & Monsters"''' is an episode of ''[[Doctor Who]]'' that first aired 17 June 2007. It was written by [[Russell T. Davies]] and directed by Dan Zeff.

== Summary ==
The episode is told from the point of view of a young man named Elton, whose obsession with the [[Doctor (Doctor Who)|Doctor]] has led him to a group of like-minded individuals with whom he enjoys spending time. The group's activities take a sinister turn with the arrival of the mysterious Victor Kennedy.

The episode is an overt satire of [[fandom]] and a [[metatextual]] commentary on fannish interest in the Doctor.

David Tennant and Billie Piper only appears in a few scenes of "Love & Monsters". It was an episode designed to give the series' stars a reprieve in their filming schedule, as "[[Blink (Doctor Who episode)|Blink]]" would also be in the next season.
