	Xena, Gabrielle, and Joxer travel to back to Chin to recover [[Lao Ma]]'s book. In the midst of a fight, another kick-ass woman joins them; it turns out that she is Lao Ma's daughter, Pao Ssu. More is going on: A local warlord, Go Kun, has started using the forbidden black powder (gunpowder) again, and they have to stop him. Meanwhile, Pao Ssu, it turns out, is bitter that her mother sent her away, and she has a twin sister, K'ao Hsin.
