Stephanie Brown, AKA Spoiler, AKA Robin, is a female comic book character from the DC Comics universe.

She was a hero in her own right as the Spoiler, and later a Robin alongside Batman.

Then she suffered from the women in refrigerators syndrome: her character was tortured (by a villain who wanted information about Batman) and killed.

Then DC Comics forgot about her.

The lack of credit accorded to her character after her death inspired the creation of Project Girl Wonder, which lobbies for a memorial case for Stephanie Brown inside Batman's cave.
