Cyteen is a 1988 novel by C. J. Cherryh, focusing on the life of geneticist Ariane Emory and her clone.

Cyteen won the Hugo Award for Best Novel in 1989. It was the fifth entry in Gwyneth Jones' list of Top 10 Science Fiction Books by Women in 2003.
