Fran Rubel Kuzui is an American film director, screenwriter and film and television producer.

She co-wrote and directed Tokyo Pop in 1988.

After discovering Joss Whedon's screenplay and putting together the financing to produce the movie, Fran Rubel Kuzui directed the original Buffy movie. Later she also produced the television series that followed.

Fran Rubel Kuzui founded Kuzui Enterprises with her husband, Kaz Kuzui.
