Selma Lagerlöf was the first woman to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. She remains internationally known, although has been little translated in English. Her work was largely in fantastic and fabulous modes.
Works
- Gösta Berlings saga (1891; first novel) - supernatural elements
- Nils Holgerssons underbara resa genom Sverige (The Wonderful Adventures of Nils) (1906/07 children's story)
- Körkarlen (1912 novel)
- This article is a SEED, meaning it is tiny and needs lots of work. Help it grow.
