The Screwfly Solution is a 2006 made-for-television film adaptation of the short story by Alice Sheldon. The film is part of the Masters of Horror series by Showtime.
Although the Nebula Award-winning short story "The Screwfly Solution" was published under the Raccoona Sheldon pseudonym, the adaptation's credit goes to James Tiptree, Jr., Alice Sheldon's better-known, male pseudonym.
