List of Xena episodes

Cupid and Aphrodite are arguing, and make a wager: She will turn any one he chooses into an object of desire, in order to thwart a match that Cupid made between a princess and a prince of two neighboring kingdoms. While Xena is off on another mission, Gabrielle has to save the day, and figure out why people keep falling in love with Joxer.

Dialog

J: Where's Xena?
G: Ah, she's off being a hero.
J: Oh. How come you're not with her?
G: Cuz I'm a sidekick. Obviously expendable when push comes to shove.
J: Hm. Wait wait wait -- that's great. Don't you get it? You're a sidekick without a hero and I'm a hero without a sidekick.

... later:

Gabrielle! Thank you for everything.
You're a real hero.
G: Heh. I'm just an over-achieving sidekick.
