Meleager calls to Gabrielle to save him from a conviction; Gabrielle is sure it is an unjust conviction, but Xena's not so sure: Judge Arbus earned a reputation for justice by trying an accused war criminal, and Meleager is concealing something. Xena has to unravel the mystery of what really happened.
