Barrayar is a novel by Lois McMaster Bujold set in her Vorkosigan series, on the planet Barrayar. Cordelia Naismith Vorkosigan is the viewpoint character. The book details the early days of her marriage to Lord Aral Vorkosigan, as Cordelia adjusts to life in a different society, and Aral to his new position as regent of Barrayar.
