Bio
Blurb from Womenfolk and Fairy Tales:
- Rosemary Minard was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up in a small town nearby. A seventh-generation Texan, she is descended on both sides of her family from holders of original Texas land-grants.
- She was raised on tales, not only traditional fairy and folk tales, but also the tales of local characters who were forever at her house, talking about everything from people to politics, farming to philosophy with her lawyer father and schoolteacher mother.
- Ms. Minard graduated from Sophie Newcomb College and received her Masters in English from the University of Houston. She has taught English to both high school students and college freshmen.
- She is married and has two sons, to whom this book is dedicated.
