Lao Ma is a character on Xena: Warrior Princess, responsible for teaching Xena many skills, and helping to lay the groundwork for her eventual turn towards redemption.

In a typical Xenaverse retelling, Lao Ma is married to Lao Tzu, who is a vicious tyrant; she is actually the author of the Tao te Ching, and thinks who gets the credit for it is irrelevant.

Her children were Ming T'ien, Pao Ssu, and K'ao Hsin.
