A designer of romance centred tabletop Roleplaying games including Breaking the Ice and Shooting the Moon. These games do not contain a specific setting but can easily be played with a SF spin.

These games are heavily focused on social interacts rather than hack and slash. Breaking the Ice includes a component of role reversal, intended to support exploration of differences in players such as gender, race, occupation, regional upbringing etc.

Emily is currently working on a science fiction based role playing game called Sign in Stranger. In this game, humans choose to leave earth and create the first colonies on alien inhabited planets, never to return home. The game uses mechanics inspired by madlibs which help the players create a truly alien world which the characters slowly make sense of over time as the players make up the world together.
