Aliette de Bodard is a half-Vietnamese, half-French writer of fantasy and science fiction. She lives in Paris, France. Her stories have been published or are forthcoming in Interzone, Black Static, and The Year's Best Science Fiction. She was a Writers of the Future winner in 2006, and a Campbell Award nominee in 2009. Her first novel, the Aztec fantasy Servant of the Underworld, is scheduled for publication in 2010.
