Eva Fairdeath is a novel by Tanith Lee, published in 1994 though originally written in 1973.

It is set post-apocalypse, in a world with little technology. Women are definitely second-class citizens. Eva, the protagonist is albino, has always been treated as a freak and has grown up quite nasty. She is mentally unstable, and spends much of the book in a depression. She leaves her hometown to follow a man she names Steel, who 'sells death'. They end up in a polyamorous threesome with another man, Sail, after many adventures and having been all horrible to each other.
