Ian K. Hagemann is a mixed-race fan and political activist who lives in Seattle.  He helped found the Potlatch science fiction convention as well as the Carl Brandon Society (* http://www.carlbrandon.org).  In the rest of his life (as of January 2007), he's a bi poly vegetarian cyclist with dreadlocks whose left shoe is usally a different color than his right shoe.
