After uncovering the surprising identity of the caller of the demon (Xander), the demon leaves Sunnydale. However, in the meantime a lot of secrets and hidden emotions have been revealed: Xander and Anya maybe aren't quite as happy as they could be; Tara and Willow are in love, but Tara is worried about Willow; Giles thinks he's holding Buffy back; Dawn wants someone to pay attention to her (and has been acting out, e.g., shoplifting); everyone is worried about Buffy; Buffy thinks her friends ripped her out of heaven, not hell as they had thought, and is sunk in depression to be back in a rather hellish mortality; Spike is still in love with Buffy and is available to her; and Buffy and Spike can make each other have feelings. | |||
