Nnedi Okorafor-Mbachu is an American writer, academic and journalist. She has won several awards for her short stories and her other works.
She attended Wiscon 30, where she was a panelist on the Science Fiction from the (so-called) Third World panel. She is a Clarion East graduate (2001).
