Sarah Hall won the 2008 Tiptree Award for her novel, The Carhullan Army, published in the United Kingdom in 2007. The U.S. title is Daughters of the North. Hall splits her time between England and Charlottesville, North Carolina. Her other books are The Electric Michelangelo and Haweswater.
