In the real world, JLeland is Janice Dawley, a 30-something American who has been involved in the feminist science fiction community for 10 years now (crikey!). She has a web site that includes reams of old posts she wrote to the Feminist Science Fiction and Fantasy Listservs. She has ambitions of one day becoming a real, honest-to-god, literary critic.
In the mean time, she is an editor not only of this wiki, but also of the main English language wikipedia (user name... you guessed it... JLeland).
