- a changeling substitutes her children for a community's children; they literally suck their human moms dry ... dads seem generally not to be in evidence, leaving the moms to be rescued by the winchesters (& Ben, the 8yo Dean suspects of being his son). One dad is in evidence, and dies right away, leaving the mom alone, to be rescued by Sam & Dean ....
- Dean ponders whether a former liaison's kid is his son. lots of father-son vibes, that the writers probably thought were funny: 8yo kid talking about "hot chicks" ...
