List of Supernatural episodes

  • Title references Agatha Christie's 1939 novel.
  • Features Eve, the Mother of all monsters. The Eve character seems to be based in part on the Lilith myth, in which Lilith spawned a legion of demons and monsters. Eve's commentary on Christian mythology/religion: "Your father made you and then abandoned you, so you pray. You see signs where there's nothing. But truth is, your Apocalypse came and went, and you didn't even notice. A mother would never abandon her children like he did."
  • Sam & Dean, plus Bobby Singer; encounter Rufus (a fellow hunter), and then their grandfather Samuel & their cousin Gwen Campbell.
  • Possessed!Dean kills Gwen.
  • Monster of the week: Eve, plus "Khan Worm" -- a reference to The Wrath of Khan
