"The Matter of Seggri" is a 1994 short story by Ursula K. Le Guin. It was first published in the magazine Crank! in 1994 and was included in the 2002 collection The Birthday of the World. The story takes place in the Ekumen universe and depicts a world in which the few men live apart from the women in "castles" and have very little power to shape society. In this way, the story is somewhat of a gender role reversal scenario. But there are other ways in which it is not.

It was a co-winner of the Tiptree Award in 1994.
