This is Lquilter's to do list. If someone else gets to it first, great.

theme navigation templates

need to do some theme navigational templates:

  • racism/colonialism/anti-immigrant (metaphoric, rebellion, ethnic genocide, minority characters)
  • queer themes (coming out, sex changes, neuter species, queer characters, homophobia, elimination of queerness)
  • body image, beauty, lookism, heightism, sizeism, fat
  • aging, age discrimination, children's rights, anti-youth discrimination
  • women & men in society: all-woman worlds, matriarchies, extreme gender oppression, etc.

lists of works/characters

need to develop some sort of coherent way to handle lists of works/characters ...

  • when we're listing a work because it includes some character representation, then it should be a list of characters (with works in parentheses);
  • when we're listing a work because it deals with some theme

?maybe?

reinterpretive works

some way to handle reinterpretive works -- a major trend within any body of critical art is to reimagine & reinvent previously existing works, characters, stories, themes ... how to get a handle on it and store it into a neat box?

criteria on lists

need to systematically go through the lists and add them to category:lists; add list criteria to top; clean up per "lists of works/characters" standards (to be developed)

importing from fsf.org

still importing writers & bibs from fsf.org
