Sutty is the protagonist of Ursula K. Le Guin's 2000 novel The Telling.

In The Telling, she is an Observer with the Ekumen. She was born and raised on Earth, of Indian heritage, and is a lesbian. She grew up during a period of religious persecution on Earth, suffering through terrorism and state repression.
