Based (very) loosely on the visions of Joan of Arc, Wonderfalls featured Jaye Tyler (played by Caroline Dhavernas) who has visions and interactions with various animal figurines and statues; the visions help her solve various problems.

Jaye's sister Sharon is a lesbian.
