The Gate to Women's Country is a 1988 novel by Sheri S. Tepper.

A powerful and controversial novel of a post-holocaust world. In "Women's Country" women and men live separately; women inside the cities, and men outside in military encampments. Startling and powerful, this novel has drawn criticism for what some perceive as authorial biological determinism, homophobia, and suspicion of democracy.
