Susan Janice Anderson co-edited Aurora: Beyond Equality with Vonda N. McIntyre, and wrote the introduction. As co-editor of this landmark anthology, she holds a special place in the history of feminist science fiction and fantasy.

Interestingly enough, she never wrote or edited any other books, and seems to have left the SF field after her one successful foray into it.
