The FeministSF mailing list is an electronic discussion group for feminists to talk about SF. List management is by Lee Anne Phillips, with Laura Quilter as co-administrator.

The mailing list was begun in 1995 by Laura Quilter, and was hosted at the university she worked, at listserv.uic.edu. After she left UIC, her colleague Chris Shaffer, who was still employed at UIC, co-administered the list as a faculty sponsor. In 2006 the list finally migrated to http://feministsf.net/ , and was reincarnated as a mailman list at http://feministsf.net/lists/ . Lee Anne Phillips assumed much of the list administration duties at this point.

List members on the list have organized a monthly FeministSF Book Discussion Group, or "BDG" as it is often called, since 1998.

From 1999 to 2005, the list budded off a separate list (FeministSF-lit mailing list), intended to stay strictly on the topic of feministSF. FeministSF-lit was reabsorbed in 2005 when traffic on both lists indicated that there wasn't a problem any more.
