Oversight is the mediawiki extension used to selectively delete portions of the edit history. Oversight was added 2009/3/6.[1]
FSFwiki admins have Oversight authorization. See:
Appropriate usage (draft):
- In general history edits / deletes should be done only to protect individuals. General uses of racist, sexist, homophobic, etc., slurs are part of our history. While they should not be allowed to stand, evidence of their existence should not be erased.
