Blood Price (1991) is a novel by Tanya Huff.
It is the first of her Blood series, and it introduces the characters of Vicki Nelson, Henry Fitzroy (as a vampire) and Mike Celluci.
The story follows Vicki's investigation into a series of murders in Toronto that appear to be the work of a vampire, during the course of which investigation she meets Henry.
Blood Price was adapted into the opening two-parter of the TV series Blood Ties: "Blood Price, Part 1" and "Blood Price, Part 2".
The next novel in the Blood series is Blood Trail (1992).
