Fleur Beale is a New Zealand children's writer. Most of her work has been mainstream kids' books, and she is most well-known for her book I Am Not Esther which deals with religious cults. Her 2008 novel Juno of Taris was a post-apocalpytic SF novel set in a false utopia.
