: Yes. Albertine Meyer belongs on that list. She's a mathematician. I also had a quick look at the "Challenge" DVD to find out the name (and verify the occupation) of the female astronomer in that series: Dr. Beatrice Liddle. In the first episode, she shows Albertine around the radiotelescope where she works. Later in that same episode, Albertine and Chocky hack into the radiotelescope's computer to get it to search for Chocky's homeworld's location, ''from Albertine's home computer''. Yes. Albertine Meyer belongs on that list. She's a mathematician.
