"I also teach feminist theory, women and popular culture and American Literature at the University of Florida, where I'm an associate professor. My last scholarly piece appeared in differences: A Journal of Feminist Cultural Studies (10.1) and was called "Suckers," on vampirism. My book is called Conceived By Liberty (Cornell 1995). I'm currently an editor at Univ. Michigan Press of the Science and Literature Series, and have been awarded a writer's residency both at Hedgebrook Writer's Colony for Women in Washington (1995) and at Norcroft Feminist Writer's Retreat in Minnesota (2000)."
