Xena and Gabrielle encounter the Horde again (see The Price). When one of the kids looks familiar, Xena checks in with an old warrior of hers in the neighborhood, to discover that the girl is his daughter, kidnapped by the Horde six years ago, and thought dead. But when Xena and Gabrielle attempt to rescue the girl (Pilee), they soon realize that she has been adopted by and is loved by the leader of the Horde, who call themselves the Pomira. Full-scale war is about to erupt, driven in part by Milo, a bounty hunter filled with hatred for the Horde. Will Pilee be the cause of war, or peace?
