The Last Witchfinder
The Last Witchfinder is a novel by James Morrow.
The protagonist, Jennet Stearne is the daughter of England's last Witchfinder General. After being traumatized by the burning at the stake of her natural philosopher aunt, she decides to end the persecution of witches by proving that witchcraft is not possible. Her adventures are typically picaresque.
