China Mountain Zhang is a 1992 novel by Maureen F. McHugh. It tells the story of a young gay man who hides his sexuality and mixed-blood ancestry in a future where the United States has been taken over by socialist China.

It won the Tiptree and Lambda Awards in 1993, and was a co-winner of the Gaylactic Spectrum Award's Hall of Fame category in 1999.
