David Gerrold

David Gerrold is a well-known SF writer. He rose to fame as the author of Star Trek episode "The Trouble With Tribbles." He also drafted a ST:TNG script ("Blood and Fire") which featured gay characters and an AIDS storyline; the show was never produced.
