Will Smith (born 25 September 1968) is a prolific and versatile American musician, actor, film producer, and television writer.

He has been nominated twice for an Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performances in dramatic roles.

He is one of the few African-American actors to have headlined big-budget Hollywood science-fiction films, and has worked as a film producer for some of those projects as well.
