Aqueduct Press
Aqueduct Press is an explicitly feminist SF press founded by L. Timmel Duchamp in 2004.
Aqueduct Press was the first, and may be the only, small press which exists specifically to publish feminist science fiction and fantasy. Its motto is "Bringing Challenging Feminist Science Fiction to the Demanding Reader."
Since its inception in 2004, Aqueduct Press has published several novels and a collection of short stories by Duchamp, including her Marq'ssan Cycle, along with novels by Gwyneth Jones, Andrea Hairston, and Kelley Eskridge.
In addition, Aqueduct is particularly notable for its Conversation Pieces series, a series of matching chapbooks including essays, fiction, and poetry. The series is currently at 19 volumes and continuing, including work by Nicola Griffith, Nancy Jane Moore, Rosaleen Love, and Lucy Sussex, along with many others.
