Sparkymonster

Sparkymonster is a mixed-race (African-American and Swedish) queer woman. She was raised in upstate NY and currently lives on the East Coast of the U.S. She blogs on livejournal as sparkymonster(personal blog which includes fannish and political content), and as Julia at Fatshionista (a group blog on fat and fashion). She used to maintain a mailing list for interracial individuals and contributed to the alt.gothic.fashion FAQ under a different name.

Sparkymonster began working with disability access at Wiscon in 2008.
