The Dresden Files

The Dresden Files is a series of novels by Jim Butcher and a TV series. It is an urban fantasy series in which the protagonist, Harry Dresden, is a supernatural detective/wizard.

Gender issues include:

  • "The Boone Identity" episode (1x02) in which a male character body jumps into Dresden's female colleague's body. "This'll be interesting."
  • "Bad Blood" episode 1x05 - vampire Bianca has a lesbian companion
  • "Soul Beneficiary" episode 1x06 - lesbian villains
  • "The Other Dick" episode 1x09 - incubi in an infertility clinic
  • Lord Raith who kills his male offspring and puts his female offspring into sexual slavery
