The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games is a 2008 YA novel by Suzanne Collins. It features Katniss Everdeen, a 16 year old young woman in a dystopian future, who volunteers to take her younger sister's place in a life-or-death competition.

It has two sequels:

• Mockingjay (2010)
