Elizabeth Moon is an American SF writer.

She was the invited Guest of Honor at WisCon 35 (May, 2011), until SF3, the parent organization of WisCon, withdrew her invitation in October 2010 over comments she made on her LiveJournal account in a post titled "Citizenship".

In September 2010, a brouhaha began over those comments relating to the proposed Park51 Muslim Community Center in downtown Manhattan. Her critics deemed her post "moonfail" after 2009's RaceFail.
