Janet Fielding (born 9 September 1953) is an Australian-born actor, manager and activist living in the United Kingdom, who is best known for her work in the role of Tegan Jovanka on Doctor Who.

Janet Fielding is a stage name. Her birth name is Janet Mahoney. She took the surname "Fielding" after her grandmother, who was also an actress.

In 1991, she became the director of the U.K. chapter of Women in Film and Television, an organisation that "exists to protect and enhance the status, interests and diversity of women working at all levels in both film, television and digital media industries".
