Falling Free
Falling Free is a novel in the Vorkosigan series by Lois McMaster Bujold. It is set about 200 years earlier than the other books, and depicts the creation of the Quaddies, people genetically engineered to live in environments without gravity.
It won the Nebula Award for best novel in 1989.
