- The demon Crowley is talking to Sam & Dean Winchester and offering to help them get Pestilence, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, so they can call off the Apocalypse by trapping Lucifer.
- Crowley tricks Dean into leaving Sam behind and acting as bait for one of Pestilence's lieutenants. Despite Crowley's objections, Dean brings "Brady" back to their lair -- it turns out that "Brady" was one of Sam's buddies at Stanford, who introduced him to his girlfriend Jess; Brady was possessed by a demon since their sophomore year, which means that Sam was being followed by demons even then.
- Sam asks Bobby how he managed to take control when he was possessed by a demon. Could he do it with Satan? Bobby says he's nuts.
