Kethry is a character in Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar series. She is partners and best friends with Tarma, a Shin'a'in swordswoman. Kethry's own sword is Need, an enchanted sword that protects its female sword-carriers, and pushes them to help other women.

Kethry's granddaughter is Kerowyn.
